Full description
In the city you complain about the traffic, on the Asiago Plateau the only noise is that of snowshoes sinking into the snow.
With a certified naturalist guide you will walk through silent woods, white expanses and paths that tell stories of the First World War, today enveloped in an almost unreal peace.
3 hours of easy snowshoeing suitable for everyone, ideal for taking your mind off things and rediscovering the pleasure of silence. .. the real kind.
What we will do
The meeting is in Asiago, at the time selected during the booking process. After the welcome, the nature guide will give us a brief introduction to the route and provide us with snowshoes (included in the fee) .
Once ready, we will set off on our snow adventure. The route, which may vary depending on the condition of the snowpack, runs between Gallio, Roana and Melette: perfect areas for snowshoeing, far from the crowded slopes, where the snow is powdery and the views suddenly open up between the trees.
We will walk for about 4 km (altitude difference 250-300 metres) in an easy hike accessible to all, with panoramic stops to breathe, take photos and listen to the guide's tales. We will discover enchanted forests and places that were once the scene of the First World War, today immersed in silence and peace.
And if you choose the sunset hike, you will see the sun dye the snow pink before disappearing behind the mountains. If, on the other hand, you opt for the night hike, you will walk under a sky full of stars, with a torch to light the path: a magical, silent and truly unique experience.
Between briefing, hike and stops, the experience lasts a total of about 3 hours.
