Come and discover the colours of winter with a 2-hour snowshoe hike from Prato Nevoso, in the province of Cuneo, on a beautiful loop trail through the Piedmont Alps.
Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to admire the sights, smell the scents and feel the emotions that only the mountains in winter can give you: all with snowshoes on your feet
Feeling alive and in communion with the environment: all this is a snowshoe hike!
What we will do
The meeting point is 30 minutes before the selected time in Prato Nevoso, one of the most renowned locations for winter tourism in the province of Cuneo.
Here we will meet the guide and the rest of the group; after a briefing on the route and the handover of the snowshoes and poles (included), we will set off along the snowshoeing route.
We will walk through fresh snow in the woods, passing numerous viewpoints which we will immortalise with souvenir photos. Everything around us will be enveloped in silence and the magical atmosphere that only winter mountain landscapes can create!
The activity will last a total of 2 hours, including briefing and preparation, and will end with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is an easy level open to anyone in good health and used to walking in the mountains. You can participate from the age of 8 and up.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate your weight.
Other information
This activity is available from December to March and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The itinerary and starting point may vary depending on snow and weather conditions. If there is no snow, the guide may propose a snowshoe hike at an altitude of 2,000 metres, with 10€ to be paid locally for a return cable car ticket. The guide will inform you of the exact meeting point after confirmation of your booking.
You can bring your dog on a leash with you.
