Come and discover the colours of winter with a 2-hour snowshoe hike from Prato Nevoso, in the province of Cuneo, on a beautiful loop trail through the Piedmont Alps.
Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to admire the sights, smell the scents and feel the emotions that only the mountains in winter can give you: all with snowshoes on your feet
Walking in the snow, immersed in the trails and surrounded by nature, perhaps at dusk, with only the light of a torch to illuminate the path. Rediscovering the sounds and scents of the forest, regenerating body and mind.
Feeling alive and in communion with the environment: all this is snowshoeing!
What we will do
We will meet the guide and the rest of the group at Prato Nevoso, one of the most renowned locations for winter tourism in the province of Cuneo.
After a briefing on the route and the handover of the snowshoes (included in the participation fee, together with poles), we will set off along the snowshoeing route.
We will walk through fresh snow in the woods, passing numerous viewpoints which we will immortalise with souvenir photos. Everything around us will be enveloped in silence and the magical atmosphere that only winter mountain landscapes can create!
The activity lasts a total of 2 hours - including briefing and preparation - and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is open to anyone in good health and used to walking in the mountains. You can participate from the age of 8 and up.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate your weight.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 30 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
This activity can be carried out from December to March, depending on snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
