Raise a pole if you love the snow!
If you can't wait to leave your tracks in the fresh snow, this snowshoe hike in the Val Brembana is for you. In the beautiful Conca di San Simone, dominated by the profiles of Monte Cavallo, Lemma and Siltri, you will experience a snowshoe hi ke in the company of an Alpine Guide.
An experience of about 3½ hours, amidst Orobic panoramas, silence and snow galore!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in San Simone, in the municipality of Valleve (BG).
Here we will meet our Alpine Guide and begin with a technical briefing: we will learn how to wear and use the equipment, recognise the signs of the snowy environment and move around safely.
Snowshoes on our feet, we will enter the Conca di San Simone, a basin always rich in snow, offering enchanting views of the peaks of Monte Lemma, Siltri and Cavallo. We will start from an altitude of 1, 700 metres until we reach 2, 000 metres, amidst gentle slopes and wide snow-covered panoramas. The loop trail has a difference in altitude of around 300 metres and is 3-4 km long, with possible variations depending on the group and snow conditions.
During the hike we will stop for a few panoramic and photographic stops, and to breathe in the crisp mountain air. On returning to the starting point, it will be possible to stop for lunch at the refuge (not included and to be paid for on site) .
The total duration is 3 ½ hours, with about 2 ½ hours of actual walking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 10 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The route is easy and with no exposed sections, also ideal for those taking part in their first snowshoe hike.
Other information
The activity takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, from the end of December to mid-March, and is confirmed with a minimum of 10 participants.
Snowshoes and poles are not included and can be hired on site at a cost of €10: to request them, contact the guide at the contact details given in the email confirming your booking.
Lunch at the end of the snowshoe hike is optional; if you are interested, please inform the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Dogs are not allowed.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
