Full description
Enjoy a splendid half-day snowshoe hike at the foot of Mont Blanc.
From Courmayeur you will ascend to the ancient village of Les Suches, an extraordinary natural balcony facing Europe's highest peaks.
You will admire a landscape that is nothing short of magnificent, a just reward for the exertions of the climb. Put on your snowshoes and get ready to go!
What we will do
The meeting with the guide will take place at 10:00 a .m. at Ermitage in Courmayeur (AO). The group will be formed and given snowshoes and poles (included), and a briefing will be given on the route and safety rules.
Thesnowshoe hike involves an ascent of 400 metres in height difference with a moderate slope, suitable for everyone. After about 1.5 hours of walking along the snow-covered slopes, we will reach the old village of Les Suches (2,176 m), which due to its particular location offers a magnificent view of the peaks of the Mont Blanc massif.
We will stop at the village as long as necessary to enjoy the panorama and the magical atmosphere of the snow. We will then descend to the starting point, where it will be possible to stop for lunch in a mountain hut (optional and not included).
The activity will last about 4 hours in total.

This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 6 years upwards.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from December to March and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 6 participants. The snowshoeing location will be confirmed a day or two before, after checking the snow and weather conditions. Contact the guide the day before the activity to confirm the course and location.
Lunch at the hut at the end of the hike is optional and paid for by the participants.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are muzzled.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
