Full description
Enjoy a splendid snowshoe hike at the foot of Mont Blanc. Set off from Courmayeur and climb up to the ancient village of Les Suches, an extraordinary natural balcony facing Europe's highest peaks.
You will admire a landscape that is nothing short of breathtaking, a just reward for the exertions of the climb. Put on your snowshoes and get ready to go!
What we will do
The meeting with the guide will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Ermitage in Courmayeur (AO). The group will be formed and given snowshoes and poles, and a briefing will be given on the route and safety rules.
Thesnowshoe hike involves an ascent of 400 metres in height difference with a moderate slope suitable for everyone. After about 1.5 hours of walking along the snow-covered slopes, we will reach the old village of Les Suches (2,176 m), which due to its particular location offers a magnificent view of the peaks of the Mont Blanc massif.
We will stop at the village as long as necessary to enjoy the panorama and the magical atmosphere of the snow. We will then descend to the starting point, where it will be possible to stop for lunch in a mountain hut (not included in the participation fee).
The activity will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 6 years old and up.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are muzzled.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from December to March, depending on snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed when a minimum of six participants are reached. The location of the snowshoe hike will be confirmed one or two days in advance, after checking the snow and weather conditions.
Lunch in a mountain hut at the end of the hike is optional and paid for by the participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
