There you are, with snowshoes on your feet, gazing up at Mont Blanc!
Enjoy a splendid half-day snowshoe hike: from Courmayeur you’ll climb up to the ancient village of Les Suches, an extraordinary natural viewpoint overlooking Europe’s highest peaks.
You’ll admire a landscape that’s nothing short of magnificent – a fitting reward for the effort of the climb. Put on your snowshoes and get ready to set off!
What we will do
You will meet the guide 15 minutes before 10. 00 am at Ermitage in Courmayeur (AO). Once the group has been formed, there will be a briefing on the route and safety rules.
The snowshoe hike involves a 400-metre ascent over a moderate gradient and is suitable for everyone. After about an hour and a half’s walk along the snow-covered slopes, we will reach the ancient village of Les Suches (2, 176 m) , which, thanks to its unique location, offers a magnificent view of the peaks of the Mont Blanc massif.
We’ll stop in the village for as long as it takes to enjoy the view and the magical atmosphere of the snow. We’ll then descend to the starting point, where you’ll have the option to stop for lunch at a mountain hut (optional and not included) .
The activity will last approximately 4 hours in total.

This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 6 years upwards.
Other information
This activity runs from December to March and is confirmed once a minimum of six participants have signed up.
The location of the snowshoe walk will be confirmed one or two days beforehand, once snow and weather conditions have been checked. Please contact the guide the day before the activity to confirm whether it is going ahead and where it will take place.
Lunch at the mountain hut at the end of the excursion is optional and at the participants’ own expense.
Dogs are permitted, provided they are muzzled.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
