Approach the world of river sports with a soft rafting descent starting from the Chiusa di Ceraino, not far from Verona, and enjoy anexcursion on the Adige on board a raft.
Our expert guides will teach you how to paddle and take you on a discovery of an environment where nature and history blend perfectly: the Terra dei Forti, so called because of the presence of numerous Austro-Hungarian fortresses.
A soft rafting experience is an activity suitable for people of all ages, even families with children, who will be able to safely experience the thrills of one of the most popular and fun water sports!
What we will do
We will meet at the rafting centre in Bussolengo, in the province of Verona. The guides will welcome us and hand over ourequipment. After that, we will transfer by shuttle to the embarkation point on the river Adige.
Before entering the water, we will have a briefing on safety rules and basic rafting techniques, learning how to use the paddle and follow the guide's commands while navigating.
We will paddle along the stretch of theAdige River that runs from the Chiusa di Ceraino to the Terra dei Forti, while the guides will tell us anecdotes and stories about the imposing Austro-Hungarian fortresses that stand in this area.
We will be paddling in calm waters, without encountering any particular technical difficulties, so that the descent can be enjoyed and experienced by all in total tranquillity.
In total, the activity will last three hours, including transfers, briefing and preparation, while the navigation is about 1½ hours. On our return to the rafting centre, we can use the showers and changing rooms and spend some time relaxing in thegreen area.

This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 5 years upwards. No experience is required.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching 6 participants.
The embarkation point may vary depending on the river level. In the case of embarkation further downstream, it will not be possible to see the forts from the river.
The excursion is also carried out in the event of rain, provided that the hydrometric conditions do not jeopardise the safety of the participants.
Showers and changing rooms can be used after the activity.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
