What could be better than soft rafting? A soft rafting trip together with the whole family with a final farmhouse stop!
Try this 4-hour activity on the river Velino in the province of Rieti, then refresh yourself with a lunch or dinner with typical flavours: you can enjoy a delicious menu and end the experience on a high note!

What we will do
The meeting point is in Rieti (RI), where a certified guide will be waiting for us to accompany us on this rafting experience! On our arrival, we will be given the necessaryequipment to proceed with dressing up. We will then board a shuttle (included), which will take us to the embarkation point in about 15 minutes .
At the destination, the guide will give us a briefing to provide us with all the information we need to carry out the activity safely. At that point, we can begin our adventure: we will embark on a large inflatable boat, which is extremely stable and therefore suitable for all the members of the family.
The route includes a quiet first section, which will allow us to become familiar with the equipment and put the guide's advice into practice. We will paddle in the splendid natural setting of the Velino river, one of the cleanest in Italy, in which the surrounding vegetation is reflected.
We will then reach the Cavallotti bridge, where we will face a small rapids through which we will enter the city centre. In this stretch, the current slows down and will slowly carry us among the monuments of Rieti's historic centre. If we wish, we can stop for a swim in these calm waters.
Finally, after paddling for about 5 km, we will return to the meeting point with a 5-minute shuttle transfer. But that's not all... because after drying off and changing our clothes, we will collect the coupon offered to us by the guide, which will allow us to have lunch or dinner (depending on the time chosen for the experience) at a local agriturismo, 5 minutes' drive away. A delicious conclusion to an unforgettable experience!
The activity will last about 6 hours in total, including meal and transfers. The soft rafting will last approximately 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate in this activity.

The experience takes place every weekend from mid-June to the end of September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The activity takes place subject to weather and water conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The experience takes place on board inflatable boats of different sizes, all large and stable enough to accommodate even the youngest children.
A changing room with toilets and showers is available at the sports centre. You are asked to leave any personal belongings in the car, while a safe place to store your keys will be provided on site.
The fee includes a coupon for lunch or dinner at a farmhouse 5 minutes' drive from the meeting point, which will allow you to enjoy a menu based on typical local products. In particular, the menu includes a mixed starter, a first course or second course of your choice, a side dish and drinks (including wine). In the event of allergies or intolerances , it will be possible to request an alternative by contacting the organisers in advance using the contact details in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the meeting point.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and there are free parking spaces on site.
