Stay on a Trentino farm in Val di Fiemme with lunch, dinner and snowshoeing

Sleeping in an old Trentino farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, waking up with the smell of wood and setting off on a snowshoe hike through snowy woods: this is the kind of experience that stays with you.

In the mountains of Val di Fiemme, a Tyrolean-style room, dinner on the wood-burning stove and a morning that begins with cakes, fresh ricotta and all the warmth of Trentino tradition await you. And then there's the part you'll love the most: a guided snowshoe hi ke of about 2½ hours through silent glades and views as far as the Brenta Dolomites.

A perfect experience for those looking for a romantic getaway, a different kind of weekend or simply a bit of winter magic - to be experienced strictly in two.

What we will do

Check-in is from 4 p. m. at the farmstead in Valfloriana, in the province of Trento.

The farmhouse, built entirely of stone and dating back to the 18th century, houses 5 bright double rooms with attention to every detail, each with its own theme: the room of deer, hearts, herbs. .. all furnished in authentic Tyrolean style. In each room you will find fast Wi-Fi, satellite TV, large bed, private bathroom with shower, welcome set, linen, safe and, in some solutions, also a panoramic terrace.

Dinner is served in the hotel and is prepared on the traditional wood-burning stove: typical Trentino dishes, family recipes and local products that smell of home and mountains.

The following morning a home-made breakfast awaits you, with cakes, tarts, croissants, yoghurt, fresh bread, eggs, cold meats, dried fruit, jams and options for those with intolerances (on request in advance) .

After breakfast, at 10 a. m. you will leave with your car for the snowshoeing meeting point, just 3 km from the farm. Here you will be given snowshoes and poles (included) .

The snowshoe hike takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes and covers a distance of 5 km, with a difference in altitude of about 400 metres and an altitude of around 1, 000 m: a simple and pleasant itinerary, also suitable for beginners, with no exposed stretches or difficult passages. The ascent winds its way through holm-oak forests, snow-covered glades and ever-opening views: from the Lagorai chain to the Brenta Dolomites, passing through Val Zenares and the mountains on the Austrian border.

At the end of the hike, you will reach the malga, where a typical lunch prepared on the wood-burning stove awaits you: steaming polenta cooked on the spot, local cold cuts, mountain dishes and a final dessert. Drinks are included, for a proper toast to the panorama!

Check-out is by 10 a. m. (departure time for the snowshoe hike) .

Dinner is included and includes a typical Trentino menu with a choice of two first courses, two second courses, side dish and dessert (drinks and coffee not included) . In the event of allergies, intolerances or food preferences, please contact the organiser in advance to inform them.

The snowshoe hike may be shared with other participants.

Dogs are allowed in the room on payment of an extra charge of €5-12 per night (depending on size): please contact the hotel at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend.

The parking area is about 50 metres from the structure.
