Is snow your passion? Do you like to immerse yourself in fairytale-like ice landscapes? Snowshoeing at Lake Fiastra has all the ingredients to be the experience you are looking for.
A 5 km route will lead you to discover Lake Fiastra, a small jewel in the heart of the Marche region, in the province of Macerata. You will find yourself in the Monti Sibillini National Park, this artificial basin is characterised by clear, unpolluted water. The surrounding landscape of snow-covered slopes and banks will amaze you.
Put on your snowshoes and get ready for a fantastic hike, we are waiting for you!
What we will do
The meeting with the guide will take place near San Lorenzo Al Lago (MC). Once the group is formed, we will be handed snowshoes and have a quick briefing on the route. Afterwards, we will be ready to set off.
We will walk a beautiful 5 km nature trail, with an altitude difference of 150 m, around Lake Fiastra. This is an artificial reservoir located in the Monti Sibillini Park and created in the 1950s to provide electricity in the Fiastrone Valley.
We willwalk on fresh snow among snow-covered woods with a view of the lake, and then enjoy the spectacle of the snowy landscape. A unique experience that will excite and involve everyone.
The hike will last a total of 3 hours and will end with the return to the starting point.

The experience is bookable from December to February and is confirmed with a minimum of 5 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
