Full description
Hop on a SUP board and explore the Gulf of Angels for 3 hours, followed by a qualified instructor.
Together we will discover the legend of the Sella del Diavolo (Devil's Saddle), unveil the origin of the name of the Grotta dei Colombi (Pigeon Cave), and spot the next creeks we will dive into.
Kneeling or standing, it doesn't matter, with your SUP board and our guide you will go far into the sea of Sardinia!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Cagliari. After introductions I will explain how to get on the SUP, how to stay balanced on the board by distributing your weight, and how to use the paddle before entering the water. It will be a great opportunity to learn how to ride a SUP and make your first paddle in the beautiful Sardinian sea!
Once in the water, we will paddle to the rocky outcrop that dominates the Golfo degli Angeli: the Sella del Diavolo. You might guess its shape, but I'll be the one to tell you its legend: it seems its characteristic shape is due to the petrification of Lucifer's saddle, lost in his attempt to conquer this territory when he was hunted by the angels!
We will then head towards the Faraglioni, the Grotta dei Colombi (so called because of the colonies of pigeons that found refuge there), Cala Fighera and Calamosca. Paddle after paddle, one nature attraction after another!
We will finally return to the meeting point; the excursion lasts a total of 3 hours.

The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14.
No previous experience is required to participate.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
