Full description
Enjoy a morning or afternoon in the midst of nature, among reeds and waterways, exploring the Po Delta on SUP. An activity that best combines sport, leisure and the environment in a beautiful and unique setting where the river meets the sea.
The tour will be led by experienced local guides, who will take you to discover the most beautiful spots, such as theIsland of Love, the Comacchio Valleys and the Delta Park.
On board the SUP you will have a great time in excellent company, doing sport and at the same time visiting new and fascinating places, and perhaps it will also be the right opportunity to brush up on stand-up paddle techniques.
The excursion is open to those who are already familiar with SUP or have taken at least one basic lesson.
What we will do
We will meet at the SUP school in Lido di Volano, in the province of Ferrara, where we will meet theinstructor who will accompany us on the tour. We will be given the board best suited to our characteristics and, after a short briefing, we will be ready to reach the starting point of the excursion with the organiser's vehicles.
The exact itinerary will be decided a few days in advance depending on the weather conditions, and in any case it will touch the most beautiful spots in the Po Delta, such as theIsola dell'Amore, a strip of land characterised by the romantic and solitary Faro di Goro lighthouse; the Comacchio Valleys and the Delta Park, a network of waterways to be travelled slowly, enjoying every corner of nature.
These areas are of great natural interest. Rich in flora and fauna, they shelter many species of birds, including pink flamingos, otters, which were thought to be extinct, as well as some sea turtles. If we are lucky, we will be able to meet and photograph them along the way. The duration of the excursion is about three and a half hours.

This activity is at an intermediate level and is open to people of all ages who can move independently on SUP.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
In order to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, the instructor will check the level of participants and, at his or her sole discretion, may decide whether to exclude anyone (in which case the participation fee will be refunded).
If you have never done SUP before, start with a basic lesson.
You can use the changing rooms and showers at the SUP centre.
The activity takes place every weekend from April to October and can also be held during the winter months on request.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
