Full description
Learn to ride the waves like a real Californian surfer and enjoy experiencing the sea through one of the most fascinating water sports ever: surfing!
With this private course you will have 3 lessons of 1.5 hours to be taken alone or in pairs, together with a qualified ISA instructor.
The course is held in Recco, one of the best surfing locations in Liguria, and is open to surfers of all levels: from the neophyte who has never set foot on a board to the advanced surfer who wants to perfect his technique.
What we will do
You will meet your instructor at the surf school in Recco (GE). The course programme will depend on your level and will be defined after an acquaintance briefing that will allow the instructor to check your skills and outline your objectives.
Each lesson will begin with a theoretical and propaedeutic part on land, which will be followed by entry into the sea and practice on the waves.
Beginners will focus on the basics of the discipline, become familiar with the equipment and surroundings, and learn how to 'catch a wave'.
Intermediates will deepen their theoretical knowledge and practical skills, learning to stand firmly on the board and improve their balance while performing various manoeuvres.
The advanced will perfect style and fluidity in transitions and gain increasing mastery in board handling, take off and wave cutting.
The aim of the course is to accelerate the learning curve as much as possible so that already after 3 lessons you can progress in level.
Each lesson lasts 1.5 hours and is agreed on a case-by-case basis with the instructor, depending on sea conditions.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is aimed at surfers of all levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced. Children from 8 years of age with good water skills can also participate.

Attention! Please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance.
This activity can be booked all year round, subject to instructor availability and favourable weather conditions.
Lessons are private and can be done alone or in pairs. After the first lesson, the others will be agreed on a case-by-case basis with the instructor.
At the end of the lesson, you will be able to use the changing rooms and hot showers as well as the centre's relaxation area and WIFI.
To take part in the course, you must present a medical certificate of fitness for competitive or non-competitive sporting activity (of good health).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
