How many shades of blue do you know? Get ready to discover new ones as you sail along the south coast of Otranto, where the Adriatic meets myth.
In the company of a professional skipper, you will explore a wild coastline dotted with coastal towers and secret coves during a 3-hour activity. From the Bay of Orte to Aeneas' legendary landing place in Porto Badisco, you will dive into a legendary sea. And to make the trip even tastier, a Salento aperitif with local wines and beers awaits you.

What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Otranto (LE) . Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our excursion to discover the natural treasures of Salento's Adriatic side.
Once on board, we will set sail leaving the Aragonese castle behind us and head towards the Bay of Orte. Here we will admire the rugged coastline and the famous Faro della Palascia lighthouse, the most easterly point in Italy, standing proudly on the sheer cliffs.
We will continue sailing until we reach the inlet of Porto Badisco, where the legendary landing of Aeneas in Italy, described by Virgil in the Aeneid, is said to have taken place. During the tour we will make bathroom stops to dive and admire the seabed using the snorkelling masks and swimming aids provided by the crew.
To relax between dives, we will have comfortable beach towels and pillows at our disposal. During the experience, we will be served an aperitif with typical Salento products, accompanied by native wines and beers, as well as cool drinks to toast in company.
We will then return to our starting point after about 3 hours of hiking.

The activity is suitable for all without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but staff can support any passengers with reduced mobility or mobility difficulties in boarding.
The experience is accessible to pregnant women.

The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is an 8-metre open boat, equipped with a sundeck at the bow, a sofa in the shade, a small table, a freshwater shower and beach towels.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
