Full description
Experience the sunset over the sea in the beautiful Salento on a3-hour boat trip.
A local skipper will take you to discover the coast of Santa Maria di Leuca and its extraordinary natural caves on the Ionian and Adriatic sides. You will admire the suggestive Grotta Cazzafri, Grotta Terradico and Grotta del Diavolo and enjoy a dip and a swim in crystal-clear waters.
The tour also includes an aperitif on the boat with prosecco, soft drinks and taralli.
What we will do
We will meet 30 minutes before the indicated time in Santa Maria di Leuca (LE), where we will be met by the skipper who will accompany us on the excursion. We will board an 8-metre boat, approved for 10 people and equipped with every comfort.
Once everyone is seated on board, we will set off on our tour skirting Punta Meliso. We will thus have the chance to admire the beauties of Santa Maria di Leuca from the boat: the Basilica Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae, the Leuca Lighthouse, and the Monumental Staircase.
We will then encounter Grotta Cazzafri, followed by Grotta Terradico, Grotta delle Verduselle, Grotta del Soffio and Grotta della Vora. These are the caves that make the coastal stretch of the Adriatic side unique.
The boat will then head towards the Ionian side. We will reach Punta Ristola where there is Grotta Porcinara, a man-made opening in the rock dedicated to the worship of deities. We will then head towards Grotta del Diavolo, Grotta del Fiume, Grotta delle Tre Porte, Caverna dei Giganti and Grotta della Stalla.
We will have the opportunity to admire the coast at sunset as the sun sets on the horizon, a moment that makes the excursion even more magical and unforgettable. During the excursion, we will have the opportunity to dive into the sea for a refreshing swim or snorkelling.
The tour also includes an aperitif on the boat with taralli and prosecco or carbonated soft drinks (orange and coke). The tour will last about three hours.

Children under the age of 3 can board free of charge.

The activity takes place from April to August, weather permitting.
The 8-metre boat is equipped with awning, shower, fridge for drinks and music, and all necessary safety equipment. Small dogs are welcome on board.
