Full description
Enjoy a day on a sailing boat discovering the Adriatic coast of Puglia, letting yourself be lulled by the waves and the scent of saltiness.
Starting from Santa Maria di Leuca, we will sail north to discover bays, caves, and cliffs that can only be reached by sea.
You will be on board a fully equipped sailboat with a crew who will tell you stories and secrets of the area, as well as prepare a tasty fish lunch for you. We look forward to seeing you on board!
What we will do
We will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the port of Santa Maria di Leuca to allow boarding operations and meet our crew, so that we can leave on time at 10:30.
We will set sail and head north along the scenic Adriatic coast. We will sail for about an hour and a half, during which we will be able to admire karst caves and cliffs up to 20 metres high above the sea.
We will stop for our first swim at Grotta del Laghetto, where we can dive into the crystal-clear water pond that the sea has carved out of the living rock.
We will get back on the boat and head towards Cala Guardiola. Here, while we are immersed in the clear waters of this small inlet, the crew will start preparing a fish lunch. When it is ready, we will be called back on board and will be able to enjoy the dishes accompanied by white or rosé wine from selected wineries.
Around 15: 00 - 15:30 we will resume sailing and move out to sea in search of the right wind to seek some peace and quiet, sunbathe or relax in the shade. Finally, we will reverse course to return to the port of Leuca by 17:00.
The activity lasts about 7 hours.

The activity can be booked every day from May to October, weather permitting, and is confirmed when 6 participants are reached.
The boat is a sailboat with a large cockpit, sundeck at the bow, a stern platform with a comfortable lift, awning, indoor and outdoor shower, toilet, fridge, icebox and many other on-board amenities. The organiser has 3 boats available, each of which can take a maximum of 10 participants.
Lunch prepared by the crew will be fish-based (depending on the catch of the day). Lunch includes starter, main course, wine, water and coffee. Some of the dishes that could be prepared are: paccheri with sea bass ragout, grouper, venus rice with prawns, courgette and lime, or spaghetti with clams.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
