Discover the wonders of the Apulian sea with a 2-hour boat tour along the coast of Santa Maria di Leuca and enjoy a journey through the transparent waters of Salento.
Departing from Torre Vado, you will sail along a stretch of coastline rich in sea caves, natural inlets, and coastal towers and admire a landscape made even more evocative by the colours of sunset.
You can dive into the crystal-clear sea for a refreshing swim and end with an aperitif of typical Apulian products to make sure you don't miss anything!
What we will do
Embarkation is at the port of Torre Vado (LE), 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking. We will sail in the direction of Santa Maria di Leuca, in the extreme south of Salento.
The crew will tell us the history of the place and point out the changes in the landscape as we move from the Ionian to the Adriatic side. On the stretch from Torre Vado to Leuca we will encounter numerous sea caves, such as Grotta del Drago, Grotta della Stalla, Grotta dei Giganti, Grotta delle Tre Porte and Grotta del Fiume.
Arriving at the end of the 'heel of Italy' we will admire the Leuca marina and from here we will turn back. On the way back, we will stop in front of a cave for a swim. Afterwards, we will be served an aperitif of wine and typical Apulian products.
In total, the activity will last about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children from 0 to 2 years of age participate free of charge , but it is necessary to contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence on board.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from May to October, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed once 10 participants are reached.
Thedeparture time may be subject to slight variations. In that case, you will be notified by the organisation a few days before the scheduled date.
