Discover one of Italy's most fascinating regions by canoe!
For 1 hour, paddle through the most beautiful landscapes of Abruzzo, along the Tirino river.
Crystal-clear waters and a sea (or rather, a river) of fun await you!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in Bussi sul Tirino (PE), 15 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking. We will be welcomed by our expert guide, ready to take us on a discovery tour of the Abruzzo region.
After changing our clothes, we will head to the boarding point of our canoes. The guide will show us how the boat works, assigning us the one best suited to us. We will get on board and be ready to descend along the Tirino river. To ensure our safety, the guide will remain at our side throughout our time on the water.
During our adventure we will admire the Gran Sasso in the distance, lush vegetation typical of this area, and numerous animals. Bird watching will be the crowning glory of this unique experience!
After about 1 hour in the canoe, we will be back at the starting point. The route will be about 1 km long in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age.
Children under the age of 18 may participate accompanied or by presenting a signed waiver.
The maximum weight allowed is 120 kg. If your weight is over 100 kg, please inform the organiser in advance.
The activity is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
Other information
The activity is available all year round.
Each canoe can accommodate up to 3 people: 2 adults on the sides and 1 child in the middle. In the case of groups of 2 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 3 children, please contact the organiser to find a solution that suits your needs.
Dogs are not allowed.
The organiser will provide a space to store your personal belongings.
You can bring or request a waterproof bag from the organiser.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
