15 Sep 2024 | Canoe tour on the Tirino River
Was well organised and felt safety was adhered to. The river is beautiful and it was a lovely, relaxing was to get off the beaten track and immerse yourself and learn about the flora and fauna of the region. Also a great way to beat the heat of the coast where we were staying. nnOur guide Hazim was knowledgeable and offered just the right mix of information with allowance to be quiet and listen/absorb what was going on around us and just be. nnI would recommend this to anyone with a reasonable fitness level (its not too strenuous as you’re only paddling up river then get to coast back down) or if you’re a couple in a canoe (as opposed to kayak), you may (like us) have the guide paddling/steering at the back so one person gets to ride in the middle without paddling.

Amazing days accompanied on an e-bike by the best guide for discovering routes hidden to most and enriching oneself with his immense culture on animals, plants and the history of the area: Piero . nice excursion on the wonderful Tirono in a canoe with Giada. All the guys in the cooperative are kind, helpful and didactic! Cheap but really good excursions that make you get your fill of Abbruzzese nature

Very nice and clean river. Very good and friendly guides. Kayaking is a bit tiring, but worth it.

The tour on the Tirino in a single kayak is a valuable experience to try (it may not be physically trivial) in the rich and unspoilt nature that the river offers, with all your senses at your disposal, outside the usual city apathy. The surrounding colours, the bird species hidden in the reeds of the river, the cold temperature of the water to the touch, the breeze, going against the current and then being pulled back in... and the wild celery to taste (delicious). The guys are very good and competent, they follow you and explain everything there is to know about the habitat, they care a lot and you can tell, they have passion. Congratulations to Marco and Mariano (in bourgeois version). Lorenzo and Eleonora
