Right from the meeting point, the staff were very friendly and pleasant.nOur kayak guides were patient and easy-going, making the experience truly enjoyable.nWe’d never been kayaking before, but the route is suitable even for beginners; the first section is a bit tougher as it’s against the current.nThe river is spectacular and, even though the water is cold, I’d recommend taking a dip.nIf you’re visiting Abruzzo, this experience is well worth doing!nThere are two places to grab a bite to eat, both at the meeting point and at the river access point.

A wonderful experience – you don’t need much experience at all. I’d tried canoeing a while back, but my boyfriend had never done anything like it, yet it was brilliant all the same! The guides were very knowledgeable and told us some interesting facts about the river and its biodiversity, which we found fascinating. Highly recommended.

The kayaking tour on the Tirino was a wonderful experience. The presence of so many instructors accompanying the groups (which were perhaps a little too ‘large’) makes the experience enjoyable and safe, even for those with little experience.
