The Salento is even more beautiful from the perspective of the sea!
Forget beach umbrellas and deck chairs for a day and sail by gozzo along the most picturesque stretch of the Adriatic coast. In addition to the suggestive caves of Castro, including Grotta Palombara, Grotta Azzurra and the famous Grotta Zinzulusa, you can admire the beautiful Santa Cesarea Terme from the sea and take a dip in Miggiano Bay and Malepasso Bay.

What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected during the booking process in Castro Marina (LE). The skipper will welcome us and, once all participants have settled aboard the gozzo, we will set off in the direction of the suggestive Castro caves.
We will pass by the Grotta Palombara, the Grotta Azzurra and the famous Grotta Zinzulusa, to the inlet of Grotta Romanelli. We will approach the mouth of each cave, listening to the skipper's anecdotes and interesting trivia. Entering them is not possible but observing them from the sea is an equally exciting sight.
Afterwards, we will head towards the Bay of Porto Miggiano where we will make our first swim stop of about 30 minutes. Here we will have the opportunity to dive into the clear waters and cool off, swimming in the heart of one of the region's most idyllic landscapes.
Back on board, we will resume sailing towards the beautiful inlet of Malepasso Bay near Santa Cesarea Terme. Once in Malepasso, we will stop for a second 30-minute bathing stop.
A tasty aperitif of typical local products, including taralli, olives, and friselle with tomatoes, will also be waiting for us on board. Everything will be accompanied by water, wine and soft drinks.
Finally, we will sail back to the starting point. The experience lasts a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The tour runs daily from May to the end of September.
You will be on board a fibreglass gozzo equipped with every comfort, including awning, sundeck, cool bags, shower and cushions. Passengers are allowed to bring food and drinks on board.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Participants by car can use a nearby pay car park.
