Full description
The Leuca boat tour will take you to discover the Salento as you have never seen it before. Departing from Santa Maria di Leuca, you will reach the Adriatic and Ionic sides of Puglia characterised by breathtaking seascapes.
You will admire the Fiumara inlet, the Terradico caves and dei Gabbiani on the Adriatic coast. The tour will then take you to the Ionian side, characterised by a series of stupendous caves that will leave you speechless, such as the Grotta del Diavolo and the Grotta degli Innamorati.
Finally, you can swim in the crystal-clear sea. All you have to do is book your place now!
What we will do
The meeting with the skipper is at the tourist port of Santa Maria di Leuca at the time selected during the booking process. After dealing with all the boarding paperwork, we will get on board with the rest of the participants and leave the port area to head for the Adriatic coast.
After passing Punta Meliso, the southern end of the province of Lecce, we will visit the Grotta del Terradico, also known as the Cave of the Indians because of its unusual triangular shape. We will then move on to admire the Grotta dei Gabbiani, della Verdusella, dell' Orto Cupo, del Soffio and della Vora.
On the Ionian side, on the other hand, after passing Punta Ristola, a rocky outcrop in the far south of Puglia, we will see other millenary caves generated by the force of the sea and characterised by enchanting plays of colour. Among them in particular we will be impressed by the Grotta degli Innamorati and the Grotta del Drago, near which we will take a pleasant swim.
The excursion lasts a total of three hours and ends with the return to Santa Maria di Leuca.

The tour can be booked from May to September, subject to weather and sea conditions.
Children up to 3 years of age travel free of charge.
The boats available are an 8-metre gozzo with a 6-seater awning and an 8-metre boat with a 12-seater awning, depending on availability and the number of participants.
