Who doesn't like caves? It might sound like a strange question, but we know that you too are not immune to the fascination of these natural settings. All the more so when it comes to sea caves, a place of legends handed down by old sea wolves.
And even more so if we are talking about the Salento caves! Puglia 's coastline is dotted with these fascinating natural attractions: from the Grotta del Presepe to the Grotta del Fiume, from the Grotta del Soffio to the Grotta della Cattedrale; each with its own history and secrets.

What we will do
I will be waiting for you 20 minutes before the time you selected when booking in Torre Vado (LE). You will find me to welcome you on board my maxi catamaran, ready to take you to discover the caves of Salento!
Once all passengers have finished boarding, we will be ready to set sail from the port of Torre Vado. During the navigation we will explore the caves on the Ionian side and, in part, those on the Adriatic side. On the Ionian side we will be able to admire the Grotta del Drago, the Grotta del Presepe, the Grotta delle Tre Porte, the Grotta del Fiume and Punta Ristola, before greeting Santa Maria di Leuca on the horizon.
On the Adriatic side, however, we will see Punta Meliso, the Leuca Lighthouse (the second most important lighthouse in Italy!), the Grotta Tenda degli Indiani, the Grotta del Soffio, the Grotta dell'Orto Cupo and the Grotta della Cattedrale. We then ventured on to the Mannute Complex, our 'pillars of Hercules' of this excursion. In the meantime, my crew and I will tell stories and secrets of the Salento caves!
During the course of the trip, there will be 2 swimming stops lasting 30 minutes each, both in beautiful natural settings. If marine weather conditions permit, the first will take place at the Grotta delle Tre Porte , while the second will be near Folloniche beach, which is close to Santa Maria di Leuca. In addition, an aperitif (included) will be served on board with typical Salento products including taralli and typical sweets, and an alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail.
We will return to the meeting point after 4 hours of sailing.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is wheelchair and pushchair accessible; there is a disabled toilet on board. There is a 10% discounted rate for the disabled: contact us to book the reduced rate.

The experience is available from April to October.
Theitinerary may vary at the captain's discretion depending on weather and sea conditions.
The vessel is the 18-metre long and 7-metre wide maxi catamaran Utopia equipped with a steel handrail, flybridge with double staircase, flat toilet, awning and shower.
Upon boarding, passengers are asked to remove their footwear; the boat is equipped with non-slip flooring to remain barefoot.

Small dogs are only allowed on the lower deck. It is not possible to bring alcoholic beverages on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
