Share a magical boat tour on the Ionian coast of Salento departing from Santa Maria di Leuca. You will spend 2 hours in complete relaxation, discovering the enchanting caves that characterise the area.
On board will be only who you decide to take with you and the skipper will take you to Baia San Gregorio: one of the best spots in Italy to admire the sunset.
Between the crystal-clear water, the shades of the sunset and the majesty of the caves, you won't know what to choose when they ask you for the best memory of this boat trip in Salento.
What we will do
The meeting with the skipper is scheduled at 18:30 at the tourist harbour in Santa Maria di Leuca. Once on board you will set sail in a westerly direction along the Ionian coast of Puglia.
You will be able to catch a glimpse of some of the most beautiful caves that characterise the tip of the heel of Italy, including the Grotta degli Innamorati, with its heart-shaped entrance, or the Grotta della Stalla, with a large hall full of stalagmites.
The skipper will show you the best spot if you want to dive in for a swim and, when you re-board, he will take you to Baia San Gregorio to wait for the sun to hide behind the horizon.
Here, too, you will be able to take another swim against a crazy backdrop: clear water tinged with the colours of the sunset and the coast slowly preparing for nightlife. On board, meanwhile, the skipper will have prepared for you a tasty aperitif of typical Salento snacks to accompany a glass of bubbly.
You will return to port at 20:30.
