Discover the charm of Santa Maria di Leuca in a new light!
This sunset tour will give you the spectacle of the Salento coastline illuminated in gold, while the sea becomes the mirror of your most beautiful desires. In the company of a skipper, you will sail through legends and salt spray as the evening breeze begins to cool the air.
A 2-hour experience made even more special by a typical aperitif served just as the sky is ablaze with colours!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Torre Vado (LE) . Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our excursion and help us take our places on board the dinghy.
Once we have cast off the moorings, we will point the bow towards Santa Maria di Leuca, admiring the coastline caves illuminated by a golden light, while the skipper will tell us the secrets of these natural cavities.
We will continue sailing until we reach the best spot to admire the sunset. Here, the crew will switch off the engines to allow us to enjoy the silence and beauty of the sun setting on the horizon and those who wish can take the last dive of the day.
Enveloped in this evocative atmosphere, we will be served an aperitif on board. We will toast the end of the day with a glass of prosecco or non-alcoholic drinks, accompanying the drink with classic Apulian taralli and other local snacks. We will be lulled by the slow movement of the waves, savouring every moment of this peace.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children up to 3 years of age participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; however, the crew can provide assistance for boarding passengers with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity takes place from June to October. The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
The boat usually used is a dinghy, 10 metres long and equipped with ample sunbathing space, awning and shower, but this may vary depending on availability. No shoes are worn on board.

Free parking spaces are available on site in the immediate vicinity of the pier. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
