Full description
Immerse yourself in uncontaminated nature and discover the best landscapes of Ogliastra with an evocative trekking route suitable for all.
A local guide will help you discover an area where sea and mountains come together to offer enchanting landscapes, pure air and Mediterranean vegetation.
Depending on the itinerary chosen, you will be able to visit some of the symbolic places of this area of Sardinia, such as the Tower of Bari Sardo, Monte Ferru, and the Cardedu area.
What we will do
We will meet in Bari Sardo(NU) at the point indicated by the guide after booking. Once the group is formed, the guide will conduct an introductory briefing and we will be ready to go.
The itinerary will be selected by the guide according to the weather conditions and the characteristics of the group. In any case, it is not the destination that is important as much as the beauty to be found along any route in the Ogliastra area.
Some itineraries include a climb to theTeccu Plateau where an active volcano once stood and from which one can admire the wild and unspoilt nature of Sardinia close to the sea.
Or we can head towards the Tower of Bari. We will walk around this fort that dominates the sea and the coastline, built in 1572 to defend the territory from the constant plundering by Saracen pirates.
Another particularly suggestive excursion is to the small lakes and waterfalls in this area of Sardinia, where you can enjoy the landscape of the Mediterranean maquis, among flowers and endemic plants and with a bit of luck spot golden eagles and mouflons.
The blue sea and Mediterranean vegetation will constantly accompany us towards our destination.
The activity will last about three hours and will end with the return to the meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
