Here is an experience + 1 to fully experience the Susa Valley area!
It starts with the Via Ferrata in the Orrido di Foresto, between wall climbs and Tibetan bridges inside a gorge bathed by scenic waterfalls. Then we proceed with a descent along a panoramic path with views of the Sacra di San Michele and Orsiera.
In 4 and a half hours , the mountain guide will allow you to immerse yourself in nature, admire the landscapes and put yourself to the test!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09: 30 at the meeting point in Foresto (TO) .
Here we will meet the mountain guide who will accompany us on this high-altitude adventure and hand over the necessary equipment for the hike.
Once we have donned the harness and learnt the behavioural rules to follow, we will walk for 10 minutes to reach the start of the Via Ferrata, surrounded by enchanting scenery. We are talking about the Orrido di Foresto, a deep gorge where a river flows, fed by the snows of Rocciamelone and characterised by magnificent waterfalls and natural pools.
In the course of the itinerary we will face vertical walls equipped with iron ladders and no less than three Tibetan bridges that will take us to the other side of the river after about 3 and a half hours. Once we find the exit of the gorge, we will stop for 30 minutes for a lunch break (not included, to be brought from home) with a view of the Susa Valley.
At that point, we will be ready for a walk of about 30 minutes (downhill) along a magnificent panoramic path, which will allow us to enjoy the view of the Sacra di San Michele and Orsiera on the horizon.
The experience, which will end at the starting point, lasts a total of four and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 10.
Good physical fitness is required in order to participate, as the route includes challenging sections; previous experience with via ferrata or climbing is not required.
Other information
The experience is available in April, May, September, October and November and is confirmed once a minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
