Forget the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in nature with a 2-hour horseback ride.
From the beautiful agriturismo in Umbertide, near Perugia, you will ride through centuries-old woods, fords, streams and cultivated fields. You will discover an area of extraordinary scenic value in the company of an equestrian guide, who will accompany you on horseback throughout the experience.
The excursion is suitable for those with a minimum of riding experience.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the Umbertide (PG) farm, immersed in a beautiful natural setting on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide, who will immediately take us to meet the horses at the stables.
After a briefing on basic horse management techniques, we will set off for the ride. We will ride for about an hour following a beautiful scenic route around the riding school.
We will ride through ancient forests, fords, streams and cultivated fields, proceeding at a leisurelypace to fully enjoy the magnificent landscape. During the excursion, the guide will accompany us on horseback to ensure maximum safety.
The activity lasts approximately two hours, including a half-hour briefing and an hour and a half ride, and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at those with a minimum of horse riding experience, such as having already taken riding lessons or having done other horse riding. Knowledge of the different gaits, from stride to gallop, is necessary.
The minimum age for participation is 14 years. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The weight limit for riders is 95 kg.

The activity can be booked all year round, weather permitting.
