From Spoleto to Perugia at a glance. And, what's more, on an elegant steed.
Experience the thrill of a 1-hour horseback ride through the beautiful Umbrian Sagrantino countryside! In the company of an equestrian guide and under his careful supervision, you can immerse yourself in a postcard-perfect panorama near Montefalco while riding carefree.
So, are you ready to get to know your beautiful horse?
What we will do
The appointment is in Montefalco (PG), 15 minutes before the time agreed upon at the time of booking.
Awaiting us will be our equestrian guide, who will welcome us inside his farm. Amidst lambs, cattle, geese, ducks and pigs, he will lead the way to the horses, the true protagonists of this experience.
First, he will give us a briefing on the horse and the various movements to follow while interacting with him. He will prepare the animal in our company, in what is called an actual dressing. Once the animal is ready, we can take a short test ride inside the corral to get familiar with it.
At this point, we are ready to go! We will leave the farm to embark on a walk of about 1 hour through typical country roads, olive groves and vineyards. In front of us the wonderful Umbrian landscape will open up, from Spoleto to Perugia. A view that alone will be worth the price of the ticket, especially if we choose the hour of sunset!
The route, which is about 6 km long, will feature small differences in altitude, climbs and descents, with stretches through unspoilt nature on country roads and dirt tracks. The guide at our side and above all our tame horse will allow us to tackle the walk in complete safety and tranquillity.
At the end of our approximately 1-hour walk, we will return to the stables. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 16. Persons under the age of 18 must have a federal licence to participate.
A weight of less than 100 kg is required for the activity.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, every day except Mondays , and is intended for private groups of up to 2 persons.
American saddles are available for the activity.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding school during the activity. A bar service is available on site.
Leashed dogs are permitted at the riding stables.
Acamper van parking area is available at a cost of €25 per night. Contact the organiser after booking confirmation for more information.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. A car park is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
