Full description
Do you need a spiritual retreat to find some peace and quiet? But no, just immerse yourself in nature with this horseback ride in Palermo!
Ride 3 km in a 1.5-hour excursion that will take you to the best vantage points from which to admire the sea. An equestrian guide will be at your side at all times and will accompany you along enchanting mountain paths.
At the end of the experience, you can enjoy a fantastic aperitif with a view!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Palermo, where the equestrian guide will be waiting for us. After an initial welcome, we will spend about 15 minutes getting to know our horse. Mounted in the saddle, we will move around a sand field and learn to give him a few simple commands.
Afterwards, we will be ready to follow the guide on a roughly 3 km ride that will make us relax and immerse ourselves in nature. We will walk along unpaved mountain paths and stop every now and then to take a few photos of the landscape. In fact, during the walk, we will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea!
Finally, we will return to the starting point and refresh ourselves with a delicious aperitif (included) with cold meats, cheeses and a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) of your choice. While we sample the local flavours, we can relax in a dedicated area and enjoy the natural scenery that surrounds us!
The activity, excluding aperitifs, will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for first-time horse riders from 14 years of age.
A maximum weight of 90 kg and amaximum height of 1.85 m are required to participate. Please contact your guide to inform him/her in advance about your weight and height using the contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail.
Other information
The activity is available every day of the year, except Mondays, and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
At the discretion of the equestrian guide and depending on the experience of the participants, English or American riding will be used. The guide will lead the horses.
An aperitif will be served after the ride. In the event of allergies and intolerances, it will be possible to request an alternative via the contact details in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Any accompanying persons with leashed dogs can wait at the riding stables.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and free parking spaces are available nearby.
