Sea or mountains? Why not both?
Join our horse ride in the province of Palermo: accompanied by an equestrian guide, you’ll venture along mountain trails with panoramic views of the Gulf of Palermo. You’ll ride through the characteristic countryside, with the chance to spot some of the inhabitants of the Santa Venera Wood.
A 2-hour experience, surrounded by nature and animals!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Carini (PA). The riding guide who’ll be taking us on this adventure will be there to welcome us!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll meet the horses and make our way to the riding arena. We’ll mount up and learn the basics of horse riding; the guide will make sure to provide us with all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience. This initial session will last approximately 10 minutes.
And here we are, ready for our horse ride: we’ll venture along mountain trails, heading into the Santa Venera Wood, characterised by pine trees, olive groves and broom. Along the way, we might even come across some of the woodland’s inhabitants, such as rabbits, foxes and hawks. We’ll follow a scenic trail with sea views, from a height of 600 metres!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point. The experience lasts a total of around 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 14. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult or have signed parental authorisation.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Duration and itinerary may vary according to weather conditions and participants' ability at the guide's discretion.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
