Explore Tuscany like never before: through the rhythmic beating of a horse's hooves.
With our one-hour horseback ride through the green heart of the Parco di Travalle, you will discover the soul of this region in an ecological and incredibly regenerating way. Scenic scenery awaits you that will make all thoughts of city life fade away: undulating vineyards, endless rows of cypress trees and rolling hills that fade into the horizon.
And if you've never ridden a horse before? No problem: in just a few minutes, the equestrian guides will show you the simple but fundamental gestures to communicate with your companion.
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Calenzano, in the province of Florence, 10 minutes before the time selected during the booking process. On arrival, the equestrian guide will welcome us and introduce us to the magnificent, docile horses.
If this is our first experience on horseback, we will dedicate the first 10 minutes to learning the basics: how to start and stop the horse, how to maintain control in the saddle and how to communicate with him. If, on the other hand, we already have horse riding experience, the first few minutes will be a brief review.
We will then leave the stables and ride with the equestrian guide through Travalle Park. We will cross about 5 km of idyllic flat country paths, letting ourselves be guided at the leisurely pace of our horses.
As we progress, the panorama will open up to ever-changing scenery: the classic landscape of the Tuscan hills, dotted with vineyards and olive groves, will alternate with vast fields and rows of cypresses dotting the horizon.
After about one hour of horseback riding, we will return to the stables to say goodbye to our guide and our new four-legged friends.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. Minors must be accompanied by an adult in the riding hall.
No previous horse ridingexperience is required to participate.
Other information
The activity can take place all year round. There is no minimum number of participants required to confirm the activity, except on Mondays when the minimum number of participants is three.
The mount used is the American mount.
The meeting place can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
