Are you curious to observe mountain animals in their natural habitat? An environmental guide will take you to the spots where it is easiest to spot ibexes, deer, foxes, marmots and many other wild species.
It is called Wildlife Watching and is the ideal excursion for those who wish to discover all the secrets of the flora and fauna of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the oldest protected natural area in Italy, with its 70,000 hectares and one of the richest and most varied ecosystems in Italy.
So get ready to walk in nature with your eyes wide open, because every step hides a surprise!
What we will do
We will meet the environmental guide and the rest of the group at Degioz, in the municipality of Valsavarenche, in the province of Aosta. Time for a brief introductory briefing and we will be ready to set off on our wildlife watching excursion.
We will set off along the paths of the Gran Paradiso National Park, accompanied by the guide who will be our reference on this wonderful journey through nature. Depending on the time of year, he will lead us to the spots where it is easiest to encounter the animals and will make the experience engaging and interesting with stories, descriptions and insights into the surrounding environment.
We willwalk quietly so as not to miss anything, we will stop at the most interesting spots to observe nature in detail, we will take beautiful photos, capturing plants and animals in their natural habitat and we will really feel like we are in a nature documentary!
In total, the activity will last about 4 hours and will end with the return to the starting point.

This activity is open to everyone from 5 years old and up.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from April to October and will be confirmed when there are at least 6 participants.
In July and August there is less chance of spotting wild animals.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
