In the middle of theTuscan Apennines, amidst the green of its forests and the mineral wealth of its rocks, there is an enchanted place, made up of natural springs and pools of crystal-clear water. This is the Cocciglia Canyon, a set of rocky gorges excavated over time by the Lima torrent, a stone's throw from the renowned Bagni di Lucca spa resort.
We invite you to discover this fantastic place with a fun canyoning route, an activity between water and rock that will allow you to follow the course of the torrent through the gorges. Ideal for those who want to remain open-mouthed in front of nature's spectacles.
No special requirements are required for this activity, just a desire to have fun and to tackle something new and unforgettable. We are sure you will not be disappointed!
What we will do
We will meet at a car park in Fabbriche Casabasciana, in the municipality of Bagni di Lucca (LU). There, we will be welcomed by the guides who will provide us with all thenecessary equipment and give us a briefing to explain the safety rules and the behaviour to adopt in the water. After that we will be ready to set off on our adventure!
With the guides' vehicles, we will set off in the Cocciglia area, in the direction of the Scesta gorges, famous for the emerald-blue colour of the water. We will find ourselves immersed in a truly spectacular environment, bathe in the waters gushing from natural springs and let ourselves be carried away by the current on toboggans, slides carved into the rocks by the flow of water. Those who want to can climb up huge polished stones and dive into crystal-clear pools from a height of up to 8 metres.
It will be a river of thrills not to be missed!
The activity lasts three and a half hours in total. At the end of the route we will all return together to the car park where we will say goodbye and exchange photos of the experience.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level. It is suitable for everyone who is in good health and familiar with water environments. Participation is possible from the age of 6.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
The activity can be booked from June to October and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
In the event of severe bad weather or water conditions unsuitable to guarantee the safety of participants, the activity will be suspended and you will receive a communication from the organiser.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
