Enjoy anadventure in the heart of the Valnerina, the greenest and wildest valley in Umbria, and dive into the pure waters of a torrent in the company of our expert guides.
With a canyoning experience at Forra del Casco, fun is guaranteed! Get ready to walk through vegetation and rocky gorges, slide on toboggans and abseil down waterfalls.
Bring out the explorer in you and set off to discover an unspoilt environment that will leave you speechless with its views and natural panoramas.
What we will do
The appointment is at 9:00 a.m. in Pontuglia, a hamlet in the municipality of Scheggino, in the province of Perugia. There we will meet the guides and the rest of the group and move towards Forra del Casco, where the canyoning route will begin. Before venturing into the canyon, we will get dressed in wetsuits, helmets and harnesses and have a briefing on safety rules and progression techniques.
The Forra del Casco canyon is over 2 km long, with almost 300 m of altitude difference. We will encounter all the typical elements of canyoning: natural slides, rocky gorges, jumps, dives and rope descents.
The route is simple and suitable for everyone, but not without thrills and adrenaline. On the contrary, we will be able to have fun in total safety while enjoying nature in its most surprising forms!
In total, the activity will last about 5 hours, of which 4 hours will be totally dedicated to canyoning.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is also open to beginners. One must be in good health, be able to swim and be atleast 14 years old.
Other information
This activity can be carried out on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when there are at least 5 participants, weather permitting.
Groups of at least 5 participants may also request the activity on other dates, subject to availability of guides.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
