Let yourself be surprised by nature and experience afun and adrenalin-pumping adventure among the waterfalls and rock walls of the Forra di Roccaranieri, a stone's throw from Rieti.
Discover the thrills of canyoning with a route suitable for everyone, even those with no previous experience, to be undertaken with our expert guides.
Prepare to plunge into the clear waters of the torrent and spend half a day in close contact with nature in an unspoilt environment that will leave you breathless!
What we will do
The meeting is at 9:00 a.m. in Grotti, a hamlet of the municipality of Cittaducale, in the province of Rieti. There we will meet the guides and move by car to the starting point of the canyoning, in Roccaranieri. We will be given all the necessary equipment, put on our wetsuits and helmets, have a briefing on safety rules and progression techniques, and be ready to descend into the canyon.
We will plunge into the cool waters of the torrent, between rocky gorges carved by erosion and lush wilderness. The canyoning route will be varied and dynamic. We will encounter small waterfalls, natural slides, pools to dive into and a majestic 27-metre waterfall, from which we will abseil with a rope.
The guides will follow us carefully, giving us all the support we need at the most difficult points, which are also the most fun and adrenaline-pumping, so don't miss out on anything!
At the end of the route, we will return to the starting point where we can change and share the excitement of the adventure with our companions before saying goodbye. In total, the activity will last about 5 hours, of which at least 3 hours will be needed to complete the route.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is also open to beginners. One must be in good health, be able to swim and be atleast 14 years old.

This activity can be carried out on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when there are at least 5 participants, weather permitting.
Groups of at least 5 participants may also request the activity on other dates, subject to availability of guides.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
