If we told you that in Ponte nelle Alpi (BL) there is a canyon that looks like something out of Jurassic Park, would you believe it? Prepare yourself: no dinosaurs, but the same wild atmosphere, with trunks blocking the way, rocks shaped by water, and a nature that cuts no corners.
The canyoning sport on the Rio Bars is for those who want pure action, with natural obstacles and technical passages that will make you feel like a real explorer for a few hours.
Your guide will be your compass in this Belluno jungle: all you have to do is follow her, get involved and let yourself be swept along to the end!
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Località La Secca, Ponte nelle Alpi (BL).
Our guide will hand us our wetsuit, helmet and harness and explain safety techniques during the initial briefing .
After dressing, we will set off on a walk of about 20 minutes through the forest until we reach the beginning of the Rio Bars, where a wide and wild canyoning route awaits us, where every bend is a discovery.
We will face technical sections that involve abseiling with a 15-metre rope, stretches of torrent where fallen logs create unusual natural obstacles, including narrow passages, rocks to overcome and small waterfalls.
There will be natural slides and dives (optional), but also moments of progression in the water where nature will act as both obstacle and spectacle.
The route will last approximately 2½ hours and will end directly near the meeting point.
The activity will last approximately 3½ hours in total, including briefing, route and walking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 15 and up; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
In case of motor problems and/or disabilities, it is compulsory to contact the guide at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation email to indicate this.
To participate in the activity, it is necessary to know how to swim.
Other information
The activity is available from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
There are no chemical toilets, outdoor showers or changing rooms at the meeting point, so it is advisable to arrive with your costume on.
Personal items can be left in the guide's vehicle, which will remain locked and secure for the duration of the activity.
A shuttle service from Treviso is available on request: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your requirements.
Free parking is available on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
