Dive into the Sorba torrent, slide down the toboggans and make your canyoning experience in Valsesia unforgettable.
It will be a 2 km route perfect for lovers of diving and natural slides and also suitable for families, given its low difficulty.
The activity is conceived as a moment of healthy fun in contact with nature and as a first approach to canyoning, which you are sure to fall in love with!
What we will do
We will meet in Piode (VC), from where we will set off on a short walk through the forest of about ten minutes, until we reach the point on the Sorba stream where we will begin our activity.
Before tackling the route, we will put on our harness and helmet and have a 10-15 minute briefing. We will thus discover the safety manoeuvres and progression techniques of this fascinating discipline, which combines trekking with some mountaineering techniques.
The torrent chosen for the activity is particularly fun, and even more so for diving enthusiasts. In fact, the 2-km route with a 100-metre drop features dives from various heights, abseils and swimming pools where you can dive in and enjoy the clear water of the torrent.
Not only that, we can also lie on toboggans, the natural slides that the water has carved out of the rock. Along the way we will encounter several points from which to dive, but we can also overcome obstacles in other ways if we don't feel up to jumping. The highest rope descent will be 12 metres and we can decide to do it on our own or have the guide lower us down.
This activity is ideal both for those who are curious about canyoning and for families and friends who want to have fun all together. The route will end near the initial meeting point.
The activity lasts approximately 3 hours, including briefing and approach.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 11. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult; alternatively, it is possible to participate with a release form signed by the parent.
No previous experience is required, but participants should have good water skills and not be afraid of heights.

The activity runs from June to September, every day, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
