Full description
Come and discover a hidden corner of the wild Belluno Pre-Alps! Crystal-clear meanders and puddles await you in Val di Scroa, to be tackled between dives, slides and abseiling with an exciting canyoning route.
Together with a guide, you will learn the techniques of canyoning and experience theadrenalin rush of this water sport that requires deep contact with nature.
A 3½-hour adventure to feel like an explorer from another era!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Borgo Valbelluna, 10 minutes before 9am. Here our canyoning guide will be waiting for us, who will hand over theequipment (included) needed for the experience.
After dressing , the guide will give us a briefing to explain some basic progression and safety concepts. The route in Val di Scroa does not require an approach on foot, so we will be immediately ready to venture into the canyon.
We will be surrounded by a wild environment of rocky chutes, deep meanders and pools of clear water, in which we will experience an authentic immersion in nature. The 1 km route inside the canyon will be full of obstacles to overcome, under the supervision of the guide, and will take about three hours to complete.
We will face a 10-metre rappel, which will familiarise us with the use of ropes. Two 3-metre plunges and a 5-metre toboggan (natural slide) know other fun encounters on our way. Obstacles can be circumvented or simplified to allow each participant to enjoy the adventure.
The grand finale will be in front of a pool of water to be overcome with a zip line, for an extra adrenalin boost! Finally, we will return to the meeting point with a walk of about 5 minutes.
The activity will last a total of 3½ hours, including briefing, transfers and progression.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 12 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is preferable to be able to swim or be familiar with the water.
A state of good physical and mental health is required. Some conditions or illnesses incompatible with participation are: heart disease, respiratory problems, recent limb trauma, diabetes, epilepsy, pregnancy.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to September and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
Photos and videos of the activity will be taken by the guide and sent to participants in the days following the activity via a shared link.
Changing rooms, showers or storage for personal items are not available.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking spaces are available nearby.
