Alpine for a day? Yes, with our climbing on the Academic Ridge of Rocca Sella!
A route that alternates between vertical wall climbing and walking sections. What doesn't change throughout the entire experience is the constant support of our mountain guide as well as the splendid panorama that accompanies us to the summit. In case of good visibility you might even be able to see Monviso on the horizon!
The experience lasts a total of 5 hours (but you can feel alpine for as long as you like).
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 08:30 at the meeting point in Borgata Combe (TO). At our meeting, I will hand you your mountaineering equipment and in a short briefing explain the rules of behaviour.
We will then enter the forest, taking a footpath that will lead us to the attack of the Cresta Accademica di Rossa Sella in about 30 minutes. Once we have donned our gear, we will be ready to climb: throughout the route you will be secured by a rope to me, your mountain guide, who will provide constant support.
The route alternates between climbing on vertical walls and sections on foot, for a duration of 3 hours. To keep us company will be the panorama that sweeps from Sacra di San Michele, to Roccia Melone, to Val di Susa; in case of good visibility we might even sight Monviso! Once at the top, we will take a break for lunch (not included, to be brought from home) to recover our energy before the descent.
We will return to the meeting point by taking a footpath of about 45 minutes. The experience has a total duration of 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 12.
To participate, you must be in good physical shape, be used to walking in the mountains and not suffer from vertigo.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
