Full description
Spend a day on horseback in a spectacular location, among the most fascinating in Italy.
Ride in the company of an equestrian guide in the Etna Park until you reach the summit of Mount Sona. And once you cross the finish line, enjoy a lunch in a refuge with views of the Bay of Ortigia and Mount Etna as a reward!
A riding adventure lasting a total of 6 hours for 12 km .
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the appointed location 10 minutes before the booking time. I will be there to welcome you, an equestrian guide who will accompany you in the saddle on this day of riding with English riding!
We will begin with a briefing lasting about 15 minutes to familiarise you with the saddle. The real adventure will then begin: we will embark on a ring-route on forest trails, which will lead us to the discovery of the Grotta dell'Angelo (which we will visit) and a 1,000-year-old chestnut tree!
We will reach the summit of Monte Sona, where we will be welcomed at the refuge for a 3-course set menu lunch (included). A meal with an exclusive view of the Bay of Ortigia and Mount Etna.
We will then get back in the saddle to return to the meeting point, riding along different forest trails than before. We will cover approximately 12 km in 4 hours, for a total experience of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 16.
No previous experience is required to participate.
Other information
The activity is available from January to December, weather permitting.
The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number and experience level of participants (6-8 hours).
