Hot-air balloon flight in Morimondo (MI)

Climb aboard a hot-air balloon in the Morimondo area, a few kilometres from Milan, and fly over one of the most beautiful and evocative landscapes in Lombardy.

You will fly through the sky for about an hour, letting the wind carry you and admiring from above the Po Valley, the Ticino Valley and, in the distance, the beautiful skyline of Milan. Each time a different view, which will surprise you and take your breath away by its beauty.

An expert pilot will accompany you in this extraordinary experience to allow you to live magical moments in total safety. So, are you ready to get on board?

What we will do

We will meet in the Morimondo (MI) area, where we will be welcomed by the staff who will direct us to our hot-air balloon.

Before boarding the wicker basket, we will be able to watch the balloon inflating. As soon as the air inside the balloon has warmed up and we have had our pre-flight briefing, we will be ready to take off.

We will fly over the beautiful Po Valley, admiring from above the colourful fields, waterways and the striking skyline of Milan, depending on the winds of the day. The route of the hot-air balloon, in fact, is determined by the currents and is therefore different every time. Each trip will be a unique and unrepeatable experience!

After about an hour of flight, it will be time to land. The wind conditions will determine the landing zone, generally on grass. We will be met by one of the organisation's vehicles, which will take us to a selected bar or farmhouse.

Here we will be offered a hearty breakfast or an aperitif with typical local products (depending on the time selected when booking). Finally, we will be driven back to the initial meeting point or first to our cars and then to the breakfast/aperitif venue, depending on the distance.

The activity lasts about 2½ hours in total, of which one hour is actual flying time.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age, with a minimum height of 120 cm and a maximum weight of 130 kg.

Children aged between 6 and 12 can only board if accompanied by a parent.

Pregnant women, people with cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases, osteoporosis, psychiatric disorders, prosthetic limbs or walking problemscannot fly . In addition, it is forbidden to fly while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and to anyone who has been diving in the 24 hours preceding the flight.

Other information

The activity takes place all year round at weekends, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.

When booking, you can choose to purchase a flight for 2 Adults (13 years and older) at a cost of €480 or a flight for 1 Adult and 1 Child (6-12 years) at a cost of €420.

Each balloon can carry a maximum of 4 participants.

Important: the flight times indicated in the calendar are approximate and vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions. A few days before the activity, you will receive an email from the organisers confirming the time and address. Always check the email before you leave!

Youare not allowed to bring any items on board, except for photographic equipment and binoculars (which must be contained in appropriate bags stowed before landing operations).

Smoking is prohibited on the take-off and landing field, on the balloon or in any of the organisation's vehicles. The hot air balloon is fuelled with highly flammable liquid propane.

Recommended clothing

• Layered clothing (suitable for the temperature range of the balloon ascent)
