But did you know that Europe’s highest active volcano is in Italy?
And you’ll get to see it by joining our horse ride in Belpasso: accompanied by an equestrian guide, you’ll venture into the countryside of the province of Catania, riding at the foot of Mount Etna.
An experience lasting over an hour, riding up the lava flows!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Segreta, a hamlet in the municipality of Belpasso (CT) . Once there, we’ll meet the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll be given our equipment and assigned our horses. We’ll then mount up, learn the basics of horse riding and all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience.
And here we are, ready for our horse ride: we’ll set off into the distinctive natural landscape of this volcanic region, along a route through woodland and lava fields. We’ll be riding at the foot of Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point. The experience lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for children aged 10 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is taking part in the horse ride.
The experience is easy and ideal as a first horse ride. The guide leads the group on foot or on horseback, as they see fit. Experienced riders may ask to practise other gaits, subject to the guide’s discretion.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
Dogs are not permitted.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
