Full description
Etna Parkis one of the most scenic protected areas in Sicily. And spending half a day on horseback in this natural setting is a privilege for riding enthusiasts!
In the company of a horse-riding guide, ride through the wooded terrain ofMount San Leo all the way to the top to enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Bay of Ortigia and Mount Etna.
A riding experience lasting a total of 3½ hours.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the appointed place 10 minutes before the booking time. I will be there to welcome you, an equestrian guide who will accompany you in the saddle on this adventure.
Before we set off on our English-mounted horseback ride, we will have a briefing lasting about 15 minutes to familiarise ourselves with the saddle.
Our adventure will then begin: we will first take a forest trail, then cross a paved road and enter the Monte San Leo area. The area is dotted with lava flows, which we will cross in the course of our approximately 10/12 km long horseback ride.
We will cross the finish line at the top of Monte San Leo, which will give us a panoramic view of the Bay of Ortigia and Mount Etna.
The horse ride will last three and a quarter hours; the experience will last a total of three and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 16.
A minimum of experience is required to participate, equal to having ridden at least a couple of times.

The activity is available from January to December, weather permitting.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
