Immerse yourself in the lush Mediterranean maquis of the Montioni Natural Park on horseback!
You will tackle the park's trekking routes, alternating between flat stretches and small hills, regenerating yourself in contact with the nature of the Val di Cornia, until you can see the Gulf of Piombino in the distance from a vantage point along the way.

What we will do
The meeting will take place at the stables in Suvereto (LI), 15 minutes before the time chosen for the excursion.
Here we will get acquainted with our guide and be assigned a horse. Immediately afterwards, a 10-minute briefing will begin during which we will learn the basics of how to handle the horse and how to mount it English or American style.
We will then be ready to saddle up and tackle the 8 to 10 km long course! We will head for the Montioni Natural Park, a green area covering 7,000 hectares and comprising four municipalities. We will move along a series of trekking routes dominated by Mediterranean scrub, with strawberry trees, cork trees and stypa bushes typical of the Maremma area.
We will start with a flat stretch and then arrive in the hills, with a difference in altitude of about 150 metres. We will also stop at a panoramic point, from which it is possible on clear days to catch a glimpse of the Gulf of Piombino.
Finally, we will return to the stables through the beautiful Val di Cornia countryside. The walk lasts 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is suitable for beginners and requires no specific skills. Minors aged 14 years and under may participate, accompanied by an adult.
For the welfare of the horses, there is a weight limit of 100 kg.

Saddles for English and western riding are available.
The meeting point is not accessible by public transport. There is a car park on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
