Immerse yourself in the lush Mediterranean scrub of the Montioni Nature Park on horseback!
You’ll venture along the park’s trails, alternating between flat stretches and gentle hills, recharging your batteries whilst surrounded by the natural beauty of the Val di Cornia, until you catch a glimpse of the Gulf of Piombino in the distance from a vantage point along the way.

What we will do
The meeting point will be at the riding school in Suvereto (LI), 15 minutes before the chosen time for the ride.
Here we’ll meet our guide and be assigned our horses. Immediately afterwards, there’ll be a 10-minute briefing during which we’ll learn the basics of handling the horse and how to mount it in the English or American style.
We’ll then be ready to mount up: we’ll set off into the Montioni Nature Park, a green area covering 7, 000 hectares and spanning four municipalities. We’ll ride along a series of trails characterised by Mediterranean scrub, featuring arbutus, cork oaks and stipa grass typical of the Maremma region.
We’ll start on a flat stretch before heading up into the hills. We’ll also stop at a vantage point, from where, on clear days, you can see the Gulf of Piombino.
Finally, we’ll return to the stables through the beautiful countryside of the Val di Cornia. The ride lasts 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for those aged 14 and over. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
To take part, you must weigh no more than 100 kg.
The experience is easy and ideal as a first horse ride.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
