How do you imagine freedom? For us, it's a ride on the seashore, when the beach is deserted!
Experience this unique feeling by participating in our horseback ride in Catania: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will venture onto the Plaja Beach sinking your hooves into the golden sand.
A1-hour experience that will take place in the early morning or late afternoon when there will be (almost) only us!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Catania. We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide and his trusty horses, our next companions in adventure.
Once all the participants have gathered, the guide will not fail to provide us with the basics of horse riding and all the information we need for a carefree experience; we will then proceed to saddle up.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture towards the sea, crossing country paths framed by fragrant citrus groves. We will then reach the Spiaggia della Plaja, a stretch of free beach that is generally little frequented at the selected time of day, and which will give us a panoramic view of Etna!
It will be the ideal time to listen to hooves gently sinking into the sand, riding along the seashore! The equestrian guide will accompany participants on horseback or on foot as required.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participating in the horseback ride.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Once the booking is confirmed, the equestrian guide will contact you to ask for height and weight of participants for a better allocation of horses.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
