Full description
Catania, with its year-round sun-kissed coastline and rich scenic wonders, awaits you for a horseback riding experience.
The horses of the riding school will gently guide you to discover the Plaja, the golden sandy beach that winds southwards from the city along almost 20 km of pure beauty.
Whether in front of a summer sunset or on a dazzling winter morning, an hour's ride on horseback will be enough to fall in love with this place forever.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Catania. I am your equestrian guide and will introduce you to our horses, trusted companions of adventure.
It will be best for you to bring long trousers and closed-toe shoes from home; we will provide you with a helmet and back protector and insurance to mount your horse safely. After a few small recommendations, you will be ready to climb into a light, comfortable saddle (typical of the English riding style) for an hour of horseback riding.
Moving towards the sea, you will cross some country paths dotted with lush citrus groves.
A few minutes later, you will enter the Plaja, a shimmering Catanese shoreline, on a stretch of free beach that is usually sparsely populated at the scheduled times. This will be the ideal moment to listen to the movement of hooves among the docile waves of the shoreline, before returning slowly to the starting point.
The horseback ride will last one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The horseback ride is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.
Previousexperience on horsebackis not necessary.

The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
English riding is used for the walk.
After booking confirmation, you will be contacted by your guide to inform you of your height and weight so that we can proceed with horse allocation.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
