If you love animals, the sea and nature, our horseback ride to the Riserva Orientata Monte Cofano is an experience you cannot miss.
At the riding school in San Vito Lo Capo, you will learn - or brush up on - the basics of horse riding and get to know these wonderful, peaceful and empathetic animals. Riding one of them, you will ride along beaches and picturesque coves bathed by clear waters, admiring the profile of Mount Cofano enveloped in the magic of sunset.
The scenery in front of you, accentuated by the colours of twilight, will leave you breathless!

What we will do
The appointment is at 5.15 pm at the riding school in San Vito Lo Capo, in the province of Trapani. I will be waiting for you there and, after providing you with the necessary equipment, I will hold a briefing to explain how to move and stop your horse.
Once this first phase is over, the actual excursion will begin. Around 5.30 pm we will leave the stables and, with the sunset beginning to paint the sky, we will ride in the direction of the Riserva Orientata Monte Cofano. We will reach Baia Santa Margherita, a place enclosed by Mediterranean scrub and washed by a clear sea.
We will then see one of the most evocative coves in the area, that of Bue Marino, characterised by an ancient tufa bay that stands out against the topaz of the waters. Framing everything, omnipresent, is the profile of the promontory of Monte Cofano, formed by limestone rocks.
Yourgait, for the duration of the experience, will be at a leisurely pace, allowing you to admire every detail of the landscapes you encounter.
We will return to the riding school at around 7.30 p.m., for a duration of about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is simple and suitable for everyone, even beginners, as it does not present any particular difficulties.
The minimum age required to participate is 14.
Other information
Important: arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
The activity can be booked from June to November, every day except Mondays.
Pleasenote: during the summer months you will ride on the beach, not on the beach due to the presence of bathers.
The riding is English style.
The venue cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
