What does Umbria taste like?
It tastes like bruschetta with olive oil and torta al testo from our trusted restaurant in Trevi. This is precisely where we will stop for lunch on our horseback ride: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the hills of Trevi retracing the steps of ancient shepherds and Saint Francis of Assisi.
An experience of over 2 hours, discovering Umbria in (and with) all the senses!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the selected time at the meeting point in Trevi (PG). Waiting for us there will be the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll meet the horses and proceed with the allocation. We’ll then mount up and learn the basics of horse riding; the guide will make sure to provide all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience. This first part will last about 10 minutes.
And here we are, ready for our horse ride: we’ll ride through the hills surrounding Trevi, following in the footsteps of ancient shepherds and crossing the Way of St Francis. Along the way, we’ll spot monasteries, churches and monuments of historical interest; we’ll finally reach the Belvedere di San Martino, a panoramic viewpoint where we can take some souvenir photos.
Still on horseback, we’ll head towards Trevi’s historic centre to reach the restaurant where we’ll be having lunch. Lunch will consist of a set menu with authentic Umbrian flavours, comprising a starter and a first course or a starter and a main course; water, wine and coffee are included. And it’ll be the perfect opportunity to raise a glass with our fellow adventurers!
After lunch, we’ll get back in the saddle and ride back to the meeting point. The experience will last approximately two and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. The guide will lead the group on horseback and the walk will take place exclusively at the pace.

The experience takes place all year round.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
