Full description
Discoveradventure on horseback in the heart of Tuscany! Hop into the saddle and let yourself be transported to a world of tranquillity and beauty in the Montioni Natural Park in the province of Livorno.
Before setting off, you will have a briefing with our expert equestrian guide, who will teach you how to communicate with your four-legged companion. Once in the saddle, you will ride for an hour through the Maremma countryside, enjoying the landscape dominated by fields and woodland vegetation.
You will thus be able to relax and experience the thrill of the first approach with these magnificent animals, along a very simple route suitable for the whole family.
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Suvereto (LI), at the time chosen for the excursion.
Here, our guide will be waiting for us, who will accompany us on the walk. We will be assigned horses and have a 10-minute briefing to get in tune with our animal and learn the main commands.
Then we will be ready to climb into the saddle and ride the 4 km of our walk along the Montioni Natural Park, a wooded area covering 7,000 hectares between the Cornia and Pecora Valleys. We will thus cross a landscape dominated by wonderful holm-oak woods and fields, along flat paths that do not cross any carriage roads.
Riding our horse, we will pass through some private plots of land and make a small foray into the park before returning to the stable, keeping a walking pace the whole way.
Our riding experience will last a total of 60 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 10. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The walk is perfect for beginners and requires no horse riding experience.
The maximum weight to participate in the activity is 100 kg.
